06 Jun Growing Orchard Communities Grand Finale

A celebration of orchards, orchard communities and the great work that has happened as part of this exciting lottery funded project over the past 18 months. This is a chance to share and learn from the 23 community orchards which have taken part and toast our successes!

23 orchard groups from South Devon signed up to the project which has involved the delivery of 18 training workshops, 20 Orchard appraisals, 10 community apple days and recorded 290 volunteer days. The project has its own newsletter called Apple Press with over 100 subscribers.
