DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nJoin Devon Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers for a mini rockpools safari aimed at tots and toddlers\n  \nThis event is an introduction to rockpooling\, aimed at preschool aged children (4 years and under) and all children must be accompanied by an adult. \n  \nImportant booking information \n\n\n\nBooking required – see Wembury Marine Centre website\nCancellation policy\n\nRefunds will be issued up to 1 day before the event starts\, minus the Eventbrite booking fee.\nIf the event is cancelled by DWT due to poor weather\, you will receive a full refund\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKnow before you go\n\nSuitability\n\nFamilies\, Children\, Beginners. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nJoin Life on the Edge for this year’s theatrical celebration of South Devon in Dartmouth.\n\nThis incredible landscape is your incredible home.\n  \nSo here we are right in the moment\, grains of sand making the shore\nLike birds that migrate in the winter\, when the first chill meets the sea\nLike an old photo you thought you’d thrown out\nMelodies of old songs they piece back together\nLike the moon & the tides\, returns night after night after night after night after night \n  \nSongs from the Shore is a new folk gig theatre show about the South Devon coast – its landscapes\, its people and its stories. \n  \nInspired by the experiences of those living near and belonging to the coast as well as its raw natural beauty\, Songs from the Shore mixes live music with real stories and imagined fables\, exploring the challenges and joys of living coastally in the context of an ecologically collapsing world. \n  \nBe swept along the South Devon coastline on a tide of salt-soaked songs and newly spun fables. This is where the spirit of the shore rises to meet us. \n  \nThis production is written\, produced and performed by Running Dog Theatre CIC\, supported by Doorstep Arts\, and commissioned by South Devon National Landscape\, as part of its National Lottery Heritage Fund supported Life on the Edge Project. \n  \nThere are additional performances in Kingsbridge (10th Oct) and Modbury (16th Oct). \nPlease note that if you saw this event advertised in our Explorer 2026 leaflet\, dates there were incorrectly listed and should be ignored.
