SUMMARY:Coastal Wildlife Walk
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nJoin Devon Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers for a walk along the beautiful South Devon coast\, learning about local plants and animals along the way\n  \nJoin DWT’s local guides on a walk along the beautiful South Devon coast from Wembury Bay. Along the way we will look for birds\, bees and butterflies as well as learn about some of the more common trees and wildflowers we find along the way! There will also be a chance to see some of the amazing and colourful nocturnal insects that call the area home with a look in our moth trap. \n  \nImportant booking information \n\n\n\nBooking required – see Wembury Marine Centre website\n£3 adult\, £2 child\n\nAll children must be accompanied by a paying adult and we suggest this event is most suitable for children aged 8+ years\n\n\nCancellation policy\n\nRefunds will be issued up to 1 day before the event starts\, minus the Eventbrite booking fee.\nIf the event is cancelled by DWT due to poor weather\, you will receive a full refund\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKnow before you go\n\nSuitability\n\nFamilies\, children 8+ (and all children must be accompanied by a paying adult)\, adults\, experts\, beginners\n\n\nDogs\n\nAssistance dogs only\n\n\nWhat to bring\n\nComfortable walking shoes\nWear weather appropriate clothing and be prepared for unpredictable weather\nBring hat\, water and suncream\nBring snacks as necessary\n\n\nAccessibility\n\n2 mile walk on the coast path with little shade\nThe path is often narrow and can be uneven underfoot\n\n\nWheelchair access\n\nNo\n\n\n Parking\n\nParking is free for National Trust members\, parking charges apply to non-National Trust members and vary depending on the time of year (please bring correct change or pay by phone).\nThe car park can fill up very quickly on hot\, sunny days so please leave plenty of time to park and aim to arrive at the Marine Centre 10mins before the event starts\n\n\nFacilities\n\nToilets at Wembury Beach\, none along the coast path\n\n\n\n\nMeeting point\n\nWembury Marine Centre\nW3W ///venues.olive.grasp\nAim to arrive 10 minutes before the event start time\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
