DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nJoin us for the twelfth in a series of walks aimed at helping people discover more about the coast of the South Devon National Landscape\n  \nThis will be a beautiful circular walk via Wembury Barton Farm and Warren Point\, then along the coast path to Wembury Church before cutting back inland to the starting point. This is a relatively easy walk of 3 miles with only minor undulation. The walk will pass through arable habitats\, woodland\, scrub mosaics\, maritime grassland\, and urban fringe habitats giving a good chance to see a wide diversity of spring’s wildflower and invertebrate species. \n  \nWe are providing transport in a 7 and a 9 seater van for those that do not have their own transport\, with pick-ups at Follaton Arboretum\, Totnes at 9:15am and Poundwell Meadow car park\, Modbury at 9:50am. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nJoin the Life on the Edge team for a free programme of creative sessions.\nIn this series of 4 creative sessions\, led by artist\, Monica-Shanta\, and storyteller\, Sara Hurley\, we’ll be using art making\, stories and sound\, we’ll also be heading out during the second session to explore the coast and gather inspiration. The series culminates in an Insect’s Tea Party where we’ll come together to celebrate what we’ve made. Sara and Monica are extremely experienced local artists that we use a huge range of media to engage\, inform and inspire us while we have a great time making with others. \nThis series is part of a Life on the Edge ‘Small Wonder’ project. Small Wonder projects involve the creation of a public piece of art to raise awareness of our project and to encourage people to get out and enjoy different parts of our incredible landscape. We understand that you may not be able to attend all the sessions\, but we do ask that you come to as many as you are able. These events are free and are designed for any older person who would like to attend. \nThese sessions are delivered by Life on the Edge\, a project of the South Devon National Landscape\, that is aiming to restore a coastline buzzing with wildlife.
