Avon Estuary – mudflats and saltmarsh
Join South Devon National Landscape’s Estuary Officer Nigel Mortimer, a marine biologist, for stroll down along the Avon Estuary tidal road – discovering and discussing what makes estuaries so special and why we need to conserve them.
We’ll have a special look at the mudflats and saltmarshes, the wildlife communities that they support and what they do for us all.
