Join us for the latest in our series of walks aimed at helping you discover more about the South Devon National Landscape.
We’ll meet at Sharkham Point carpark (it’s a pay and display, so you may want to park elsewhere and walk to meet us). We’ll then explore Sharkham Point with its stunning coastal views and continue along the coast to Mansands Beach. This stretch includes a steep decline. We’ll return inland via the beautiful holloways and rural lanes. During our walk, we’ll enjoy a small number of stops with exercises to encourage us to notice and really appreciate the nature around us. Overall, this is an ‘easy to moderate’ walk with one ‘strenuous’ decline. There are no toilets en route.
Please make sure you bring a bottle of water, a snack, good footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. Support-dogs only, please.
We are running a 7 and a 9-seater van for people who don’t have their own transport, with pick-ups at Follaton Arboretum, Totnes (by wooden sign) at 09:35, and Paignton Asda (adjacent to main entrance) at 10:00. We are unable to carry dogs in these leased vehicle, sorry.
