Life on the Edge Volunteers Conservation Tasks- The Big Bug Count

26 April @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free

Life on the Edge – The Big Bug Count
Are you looking for more opportunities to connect to nature? Or are you trying to pursue a career in conservation and looking for more surveying experience? Why don’t you get involved with the Life on the Edge volunteers at our Big Bug Count!

Our Conservation Officer, Sam will lead the session and talk to you about all things invertebrates and the Life on the Edge project. Then you can get stuck in and you will learn how to carry out a really simple flying insect timed count – a FIT count!

We will then show you how to use our recording app, iRecord to log your results, adding to a national survey of insects over the summer – just in time for No Mow May!
