Join Devon Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers for a mini rockpools safari aimed at tots and toddlers
This event is an introduction to rockpooling, aimed at preschool aged children (4 years and under) and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Refunds will be issued up to 1 day before the event starts, minus the Eventbrite booking fee.
- If the event is cancelled by DWT due to poor weather, you will receive a full refund
Know before you go
- Suitability
- Families, Children, Beginners. All children must be accompanied by an adult
- Dogs
- No – dogs are not allowed on the beach 1st May to 20th September
- What to bring
- Please don’t bring nets – we’ll follow the Seashore Code and use our hands and tubs (tubs provided)
- Wear wellies/water shoes
- Wear weather appropriate clothing and be prepared for unpredictable weather
- Bring snacks and drinks as necessary

- The event takes place on Wembury beach and the surrounding rocky foreshore
- Involves walking over slippery, uneven terrain and seaweed covered rocks

- No wheelchair access to beach

- Parking is free for National Trust members, parking charges apply to non-National Trust members and vary depending on the time of year (please bring correct change or pay by phone).
- The car park can fill up very quickly on hot, sunny days so please leave plenty of time to park and aim to arrive at the Marine Centre 10mins before the event starts
